Burton Demolition is a well-established industry leader in demolition and waste recovery based in South Australia. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality outcomes across residential, commercial, and asbestos removal projects. With a fast-paced environment and a strong reputation, we are looking to grow our leadership team to better support our expanding admin and field operations.


The Role:

We're seeking an experienced and organised Administration Team Manager to lead our residential administration team. You'll oversee day-to-day administrative operations, support job coordination, and act as the key point of contact between admin staff, clients, and senior management.

This role requires someone proactive, solution-focused, and confident in managing a small but busy team.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and support the administration team across sales, job coordination, client liaison, and safety compliance.
2. Monitor workload and ensure timely and professional responses to client queries.
3. Oversee coordination of temporary fencing, utility abolishments, contractor bookings, and safety documentation.
4. Support variation tracking and problem-solving during live projects.
5. Conduct team check-ins and ensure processes are followed from contract signing to job finalisation.
6. Act as the primary escalation point for complex client or site issues before escalating to Directors.
7. Work closely with HR, Accounts, and external service providers.


What We're Looking For:

1. Previous experience in an office leadership role, ideally in construction, demolition, or trade services.
2. Strong people management and organisational skills.
3. Confident communicator with experience handling client issues or disputes.
4. High attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
5. Familiarity with job tracking tools and safety systems (e.g., SiteBook, DBYD) is highly desirable.
