Responsibilities
* Provide Critical Incident Response Services (including emergency response, critical incidents, planned support service, disaster response and incident support forums) using the primary intervention models of Psychological First Aid, stepped care and referral pathways, to support Converge International's customers.
* Support during an incident or organisational change, informing the organisations of themes, recommendations, or any internal (customer) process improvements.
* Deliver Employee Counselling and Training and Consulting Services as required.
* Provide one-on-one trauma support and group sessions using Psychological First Aid (PFA) and other trauma-specific interventions to support individuals and their organisations.
Qualifications
* Experience in providing psychosocial interventions, support and counselling.
* Minimum 2 years trauma management and/or relevant consultancy services.
* Demonstrated ability to assess workplace issues, identify suitable intervention programs and provide solution-focused advice to achieve outcomes.
* Passion to help people and ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent time management, report writing skills and willingness to travel to client sites for trauma response work.
* Demonstrated ability and experience in delivering People Assist services (EAP, RRS).
* High level negotiation and facilitation skills; ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders.
* Trained in Psychological First Aid and registered with the appropriate professional body.
* Current driver's license and access to a vehicle.
