What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of containers and general freight between customer sites, depots, and Fremantle Wharf terminals, ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and compliance standards. Youll operate a range of vehicle combinations, including single semis, pocket and full road trains, while performing load restraint using chains, straps, and dunnage. Day-to-day tasks will include safely hooking and unhooking trailers, completing digital documentation through in-truck systems (such as MT Data and Transfocus), and maintaining strong communication with schedulers and clients.
What You Will Need
* Current MC Licence with proven road train or general freight experience
* MSIC / FPA Access Card or willingness to obtain
* Dangerous Goods Licence highly desirable
* Experience with steel or general cargo transport is desirable
* Load restraint experience essential (chains, straps, dunnage)
