$113,300 - $124,913 per annum + superannuation + salary sacrifice benefits

About the Role

The Perinatal Infant Mental Health (PIMH) Practitioner at Pregnancy to Parenthood (P2P) plays a pivotal role in contributing to a truly holistic, family-centred model of care, with a focus on early relational health, trauma-informed practice, with reflective supervision. Duties of the role include undertaking triage, assessment, intervention and case management with families presenting with complex mental health problems during the perinatal period (pregnancy to 3 years) and provides continuing care as part of a team.

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist or Allied Mental Health Professional to join our interdisciplinary team. This unique role combines direct clinical work, professional development, and reflective supervision in a supportive and progressive clinic environment.

About You

We're seeking a highly skilled PIMH Practitioner based in Perth for our north of the river-based clinics.

In this role, you will:

* Deliver clinical PIMH services to parents, infants, and families, engaging in care coordination to ensure holistic, culturally responsive family support.
* Participate in regular reflective practice supervision with your assigned PIMH Supervisor and in ongoing professional development and organisational planning activities.
* Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and contribute to consultancy, educational and research evaluation activities.
* Support the development of innovative, community-based PIMH interventions.
* Assess and manage level of risk for clients and the organisation.
* Identifying and developing positive working relationships with internal and external customers built on trust and integrity.
* Represent P2P in professional networks and partnerships.

This role is suited to a motivated practitioner with a deep understanding of perinatal and infant mental health and a desire to work in a nurturing and forward-thinking team.

Essential

* Demonstrated activities and participation in professional activities in PIMH field that support the development of:

* Evidence based practice.

* Community based evaluations of PIMH practice and training models.
* Registration with AHPRA as a Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Social Worker or relevant mental health professional.
* Experience working with parents and infants (0–3 years), ideally in a perinatal setting.
* Demonstrated specialised expertise in PIMH.
* Eligibility or current Endorsement through AAIMH WA.
* Commitment to reflective practice and culturally responsive care.
* Strong knowledge of infant and early childhood mental health, attachment, trauma, and parent-infant interventions.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills with a "can do" attitude.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, valid driver's licence.

Desirable

* Medicare Provider status and professional indemnity insurance
* Up to date knowledge of emerging trends and advancements in the field, and ability to apply this knowledge to enhance the quality and effectiveness of clinical services.
* Experience in delivering PIMH interventions with families presenting with moderate mental health concerns.
