The Role
At Lyppard, we are evolving. To ensure our North Queensland clients get the dedicated support they deserve, we have created a brand-new position within our Townsville team.
Previously managed by our Branch Manager, this territory is now ready for a focused
Territory Manager
to take the reins.
Based in Townsville, you will take over an established and active region stretching from Mossman down to Sarina and out to Mt Isa. This isn't just about "orders"; it's about being a visible, reliable business partner to veterinary clinics. You will use sales data to help clinics identify purchasing gaps, find cost-efficiencies, and run better businesses.
What Your Week Looks Like (Monday – Thursday):
* On the road:
Local daily travel to maintain face-to-face connections, with regional trips every 4-6 weeks. This includes 3-night stays in Cairns, 3-night runs South, and occasional travel out West;
* Account Management:
Use our reporting tools to provide insight-led solutions to 150+ active accounts;
* Business Development:
With more dedicated time than ever before, you'll hunt for new opportunities to grow our market share;
* The Branch:
When not on the road, you're an integral part of our Townsville branch. We have supportive culture where everyone supports each other —whether that's managing accounts over the phone or helping in the warehouse during peak times.
What we are looking for:
* Experience:
Previous experience working within an on the road sales role specifically in animal health or healthcare preferred, but not essential;
* Sales Fundamentals:
You are a self-starter who knows how to open doors, handle rejection, and close a deal;
* Regional Grit:
You must live in Townsville and be genuinely comfortable with traveling distances required to cover our vast NQ region;
* Ownership:
You manage your time with precision and enjoy the autonomy of running your own territory without being micromanaged.
