Job Description

As National Account Manager, you will take ownership of expanding retail opportunities across Major Grocery, Petrol & Convenience, Pharmacy and Independent Retailers. You'll work closely with brand partners and internal teams to execute strategic, insight‐led plans that deliver measurable commercial results. Key responsibilities include:

* Identifying and unlocking new retail opportunities aligned to brand and category strategies
* Leading the development and execution of omnichannel strategies across key accounts
* Building strong relationships with retail buyers and tailoring presentations to category requirements
* Driving commercial outcomes through joint business planning, promotional execution and co‐op strategies
* Maintaining regular communication with brand partners across key channels and touchpoints
* Interpreting market and category data (IRI, IBIS, Quantium) to provide insight‐led recommendations
* Representing the organisation and partner brands at trade shows and industry events
* Supporting monthly budget updates and reporting for the General Manager
* Operating as a key contributor within the Sales Team, with a collaborative, results‐driven mindset

The Successful Applicant

You will bring experience in FMCG account management, sales or category roles and a strong understanding of the Australian retail landscape across majors, independents and convenience. You enjoy building meaningful retailer relationships, negotiating commercial outcomes, and using data to shape strategic decisions.

You will also demonstrate:

* Proven relationship‐building and influencing skills
* Strong commercial acumen and confidence working with category and market insights
* High attention to detail and proactive communication
* A self‐starter mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with IRI, Quantium or similar tools is beneficial
