Aged Care Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our team as Executive Director of Aged Care. This pivotal role will play a key part in shaping the future of aged care services, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care for all older people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of approximately 160 staff, managing home-based Aged Care services under various funding streams.
* Develop and implement strategic direction and governance of clinical and care standards, compliance, and accreditation.
* Oversee financial management, including budgeting and financial reporting, to ensure efficient service delivery and achievement of targets.
* Manage workforce, human resources, and organisational development across multiple sites and teams.
* Engage stakeholders and the community, promoting consumer-centred care and resident rights.
Requirements:
* Executive leadership experience in aged care, health, or human services, with demonstrated ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong operational and financial acumen, ensuring efficient service delivery and achievement of financial targets while maintaining high-quality care.
* Proven experience managing resources effectively and leading teams through complex change in alignment with Aged Care reforms.
* Qualifications as a Registered Nurse with current registration with AHPRA.
* Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, the Aged Care Act, and contemporary aged care service delivery models.
