Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing the upkeep of buildings and facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and presentable environment.
* Perform daily repairs and maintenance tasks
* Assemble and install new equipment
* Fabricate classroom fittings, including welding and cabinet work
* Carry out preventative maintenance
* Identify and resolve safety hazards
* Liaise with teaching staff and other departments
* General labour, including lifting
* Complete tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager
Main responsibilities include providing day-to-day supervision, support, and direction to the maintenance team, monitoring staff performance, and allocating work assignments based on team capacity and operational priorities.
Key Requirements
* Carpentry qualification or equivalent experience
* Working at heights certification is desirable
* Prior experience in completing varied tasks, including physical labour
* Current Working with Children Check
* Current National Police Clearance
