Aircraft Maintenance Engineers play a vital role in ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft. They are responsible for carrying out maintenance, modifications, and repairs to keep these complex machines flying safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining and repairing aircraft systems, including structures, engines, and avionics
* Conducting inspections and tests to identify defects and faults
* Collaborating with other engineers and technicians to complete tasks efficiently
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures)
* Be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements
* Hold a current driver's licence
* Previous experience working with Military aircraft
* Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence
