The role of a Batch Plant Supervisor is pivotal in ensuring the production requirements meet manufacturing costs and customer expectations.
In this capacity, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining concrete batching plants to produce concrete to approved mix designs and project specifications.
Responsibilities:
* Promote a culture of safety within the organization by demonstrating safety leadership behaviors.
* Ensure pre-starts are completed daily by all personnel and maintenance records are updated.
* Maintain plant and equipment in an economical manner to deliver high utilization.
* Perform hands-on maintenance to minimize breakdowns within your area of expertise.
* Oversee stock control and ordering of all batch plant materials.
* Support the Project Manager with scheduling maintenance for all plant and equipment.
* Operate agitator Trucks when required.
* Drive Front End Loader when required.
* Batch orders accurately to meet the requirements of specified mix designs.
* Allocate trucks for smooth operations for customers.
* Manage day-to-day administration of the batch site.
