Job Description:
Warmline Suicide Prevention Peer Workers provide a safe, validating environment where people reaching out feel heard, understood and supported.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Lived experience of suicidality or suicide bereavement
* Non-judgmental, supportive attitude and ability to empathise
* Right to work within Australia
* Current valid Driver's Licence and the ability to undertake some travel
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (Quality, Safety and You)
* National Police Records Check
* NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children's Check
* Relevant qualifications or commensurate experience in working in the mental health or community services sector (generally Certificate IV qualification)
