Overview
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Underground Production Engineer to join a well‐established hard‐rock gold operation in Western Australia. This permanent position offers strong exposure across drill & blast, scheduling, planning and production optimisation, suited to someone who enjoys hands‐on technical work and wants stability and development.
Responsibilities
* Develop weekly mine plans, drill and blast designs and production schedules.
* Enter and validate operational data for accurate planning and reporting.
* Reconcile production performance against plans and identify improvement actions.
* Conduct stope performance reviews and optimisation work.
* Collaborate with mining crews, geology, survey and contractors to support safe execution.
* Assist with monthly and quarterly planning and reporting inputs.
Qualifications
* Strong underground mining experience (hard‐rock gold essential).
* Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
* Experience in production engineering, drill & blast and scheduling.
* Deswik experience highly desirable.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
