You will be visiting workers or employers on site most days, so you will enjoy both getting out and about and spending some time in the office. You will be helping with injury prevention strategies, work technique and pacing, designing the right duties to assist recovery, providing education on managing physical and or psychological injuries, and helping employers to develop the right suitable duties to match. You will also be doing assessments of workers including work capacity (and barriers to work) evaluations, and if you are interested, even helping with job seeking if they can't return to their original job. 5. Your standard work week is designed to suit your life.If you want to work some longer days and some shorter days …. fine. Your schedule should support you to live your best life.
6. Working from home is definitely viable. If you want to get that extra gym session in or start work early … and finish early … this is absolutely possible. Of course we need you to be part and get the trust of the team but working from home on 1 – 2 days per week after initial training is totally achievable. This helps with your work life balance.

10. You'll have professional support. Our onboarding program is extremely comprehensive (26 weeks), and over your first 12 months you have a mentor and coach who helps you every step of the way. Our current team currently encompasses Occupational Therapy, and Exercise Physiology. You will have the best support from the team so that you can help workers recover and be their best. You will have structured weekly or fortnightly supervision (including case reviews) …. depending on your experience. You will have ample opportunities to shadow or collaborate on sessions to learn new skills. We also have monthly "lunch and learn" where we get in guest speakers or focus on particular areas of skills. You and I will have daily check-ins as I am in office every day…but also with our other senior clinical leads.
11. You will be incredibly well resourced.We are lucky that we have developed a broad range of resource and education tools based on long standing clinical experience. We use these to get great return to work outcomes with our workers.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are opening a new position as part of ongoing growth and we are seeking a Clinician in Occupational Rehabilitation to join our team. As an occupational therapist, exercise physiologist, physiotherapist, your working day at Momentum4 will include but not limited to:-
* Helping people make the journey back to health and work from the start … right through to the finish
* Clinically assessing injured people to determine the best way to help them get back to health, work and being happy. This also includes understanding and helping with common limitations such as pain, strength, and confidence.
* Supporting workers get back to work with new employers or new jobs using our Momentum4 jobs training package.
* Completing pre-placement and post injury functional capacity assessments to ensure workers are safe and ready prior to starting work or after injury.
* Communicating with employers and insurers to help achieve the best outcome for injured workers.
* Problem solving to help overcome barriers impacting on an injured person returning to work.
* Liaising with treating doctors and health professionals to find the best ways to help an injured individual recover and get back to work.

ABOUT YOU – MUST HAVES
* You are accredited with ESSA or registered with AHPRA (*a must) (but it is ok if you do not have experience)
* You have goals and what to be a high achiever and want to progress in your career and income …..our M4 career scale gives you a clear plan to progress.
* You love to get things done – you are proactive and capable
* You really do want to help people – this is why we exist to help people return to work or stay at work.
* You are an organised person to help you get things done
* University educated and a registered exercise physiologist, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist.
* You can type 50 words per minute or faster. Whilst technology is changing quickly, we still need you to be able to type quickly to be efficient and effective.
* You have your own driver's licence and car. We have lots of company cars, but occasionally you will have to use your own but we make sure you are paid the award KM rate.
