The Role
Reporting to the
CFO
, the
Group Finance Manager
will ensure the organisation's financial health through strategic leadership of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and compliance. This role combines strategic financial oversight with hands-on process improvement, automation, and data-driven insights ensuring accuracy, innovation, and long-term sustainability. You'll lead a high-performing team and act as a trusted advisor across the business, partnering with senior leaders to align financial operations with organisational strategy. You will also offer robust finance transformation expertise to be part of some exciting future plans for a new ERP roll out.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
* Drive process improvement, automation, and digital transformation.
* Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
* Provide strategic analysis and insights for executive decision-making.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support growth and efficiency.
* Oversee audits, cash flow, and government or regulatory submissions.
About You
You're a commercially astute finance leader who thrives on improving systems, mentoring teams, and delivering actionable insights. You balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution and are passionate about driving excellence across all finance functions.
You will bring:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
* CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
* 7+ years' experience in financial management or accounting.
* Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
* Advanced Excel and ERP experience (SAP, MYOB, or Xero ideal).
* Experience in FP&A, financial controls, and transformation projects.
* Interest in finance technology, automation, and data analytics.
