**About the role**
Reporting to the Head of Procurement Partnerships & Services, as the Category Manager for WLiving & B2B Food you will utilise strategic cost modelling disciplines to provide transparency for cost inputs into directly sourced goods & associated services. Sourcing opportunities, more efficient commercial models &/or value chains and specification reengineering may then be prioritised leveraging the most appropriate skills in the Procurement, Strategy &/or Business Partners teams.
**Responsibilities include**
- Developing and executing strategies with key stakeholders
- Strategic cost modelling to provide transparency to cost inputs into directly sourced goods & associated services
- Providing data insights that prioritise efforts to deliver optimal benefits & inform stakeholders who lead negotiations with Suppliers
- Working end to end as one team across a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Bringing innovation to and re-engineering of products, commodities and supply chains in order to reduce overall costs to the business.
- Delivering value in the form of revenue, cost reduction, cost avoidance, working capital and continuous improvement targets.
- Supporting the establishment of commercial arrangements for goods & associated services.
- Managing the quality of non-trade goods procured, both domestically and internationally.
**To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate experience such as**:
- Tertiary qualified in Procurement, Supply Chain or Business Administration or a relevant professional accreditation or certification, such as MCIPS.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a procurement role
- Demonstrated strength in strategic cost management and analytical expertise.
- Negotiated strategic deals that delivered significant commercial outcomes.
- Understanding of category management, contract law & governance frameworks.
- Proven track record in delivering significant and sustainable EBITDA benefits
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills with the ability to manage cross-functional stakeholder groups.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders within the business.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build true business partnerships
- Well-organised, reliable, and proactive with continuous improvement mindset.
- Proficient with MS Office products
- Excel, PowerPoint and Google Suite.
