**The Opportunity**
Based out of Bayswater, Melbourne, Dulux Group has an exciting new opportunity for a Category Assistant.
As an integral member of the Category team, you will provide support to the Category Manager with focus on managing the core range and delivering new products to the market.
You will get involved with the development of product lifecycle analysis, building ranges, promotional execution, data management, and channel communications.
To be successful in the role, you will bring a curious mindset to assist the team to deliver and support key projects that will build and maintain competitive advantage in category management. You will have the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, sales, customer service, marketing and supply chain.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the preparation, planning, coordination, and deployment of new product launches and promotional campaigns and track return on investment
- Provide analysis and reporting on sales within the category portfolios and pricing systems
- Collaborate on category strategy and innovation pathways with a focus on customer experience
- Build great working relationships with our supply partners
- Contribute to the execution of the category strategy with a key focus on maximising the categories' commercial performance through clear and concise communication with Lincoln Sentry stakeholders
- Manage the content for product master data for internal and external facing stakeholders (SAP and other systems)
- Demonstrated experience in a Category/Buying/Procurement or Sales support function
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex data
- Proficient in Excel and other platforms of MS Suite
- Experience in SAP or other ERP platforms is preferable
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data
