As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in delivering mental health interventions to young people. This is an exciting opportunity to work with headspace, the National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention and support for individuals aged 12-25.
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy and be registered with the relevant governing body. Experience in youth mental health is preferred, as well as qualifications in Single Session and/or Brief Intervention and training in clinical risk assessment and management.
Your responsibilities will include working with young people to deliver inclusive, culturally sensitive, and welcoming interventions. You will also coordinate intake screenings, risk assessments, and brief interventions for referrals, as well as support administrative tasks such as responding to inquiries, screening referrals, and managing appointments.
