We're looking for a proactive and organised Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to join our national team in Sydney. This role is full‐time, with flexibility to consider part‐time (0.8 FTE) for the right candidate. Working closely with the National BD & Marketing Manager (based in Melbourne) and our lawyers, you'll support the delivery of marketing initiatives while playing a key role in our relationship‐led business development strategy. You'll be the BD & Marketing lead in our Sydney office, with the autonomy to shape and drive local initiatives while staying connected to a supportive national team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your experience across both marketing and BD in a fast‐paced, collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
* Support the delivery of marketing and BD strategies across practice and industry groups by engaging with internal stakeholders, including our lawyers.
* Produce reports and insights to support the Sydney office, including client fee reports and relationship mapping.
* Assist with capability statements, pitches and proposals.
* Coordinate client and industry events and initiatives for the Sydney office.
* Maintain client and CRM data to support BD activity and engagement tracking.
* Support website, social media and legal updates to ensure content is current and relevant.
* Ensure all collateral aligns with MK brand guidelines.
* Collaborate with the national BD & Marketing team and contribute ideas.
About You
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, business or a related field.
* At least 1 year of experience in marketing and/or business development (qualified services experience desirable).
* Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
* High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Confident working autonomously and managing priorities with initiative.
* Analytical mindset with confidence working with data, reporting and insights.
* A proactive, team‐oriented approach with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (CRM experience advantageous).
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is desirable but not essential.
