Your new company is a locally operated civil and excavation services provider in Townsville. They are known for delivering reliable, safe and efficient solutions and have various contracts with government bodies.
Your new role
Our client is seeking a skilled vac truck operator to join the team in Townsville! You will be working on various civil construction projects and be responsible for the following:
* Operate vac trucks
* Utilise high pressure water to break down soil
* Potholing
* Trenching
* Post hole digging
* Mud and slurry removal
* Combination of driving and labouring duties
* Use of hand and power tools
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have some exposure within the industry, be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol and Police Check. You will also hold the following:
* HR Driver's Licence
* White card
* Experience around machinery
* Attention to detail
* Commitment
What you'll get in return
In return, our client can offer a consistent Monday-Friday roster, with some away work and a competitive hourly rate.
