**Description**: 
About the Role 
As a Purchasing Officer, you will play a key role in supporting procurement operations by raising and managing purchase orders, maintaining accurate inventory and pricing data, and ensuring timely communication with suppliers and internal teams. 
About You 
You are a proactive and organised professional with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy building positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and have a proven ability to manage procurement processes efficiently. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills, combined with a solutions-focused mindset, make you an invaluable part of any purchasing team. 
Key Accountabilities 
Generate and authorise purchase orders based on sales forecasts and guidance from product management. 
Oversee stock levels, pricing accuracy, and inventory data integrity. 
Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. 
Monitor international shipments and promptly escalate any issues to management. 
Proactively follow up on outstanding orders and update delivery schedules within the system. 
Identify and resolve discrepancies related to pricing or product specifications. 
Work collaboratively with sales and warehouse teams to ensure inventory aligns with customer demand. 
Recommend and implement strategies to enhance purchasing efficiency and reduce costs. 
Provide timely vendor updates and product information to support sales and customer service teams. 
**Skills and Experiences**: 
What you will bring 
**Experience**: Background in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management (international purchasing experience is a plus!). 
**Tech-Savvy**: Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. 
**Communication**: Clear, confident, and professional verbal and written skills. 
**Problem-Solving**: Ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure. 
**Team Player**: Collaborative and proactive approach to supporting internal teams. 
**Customer-Focused**: Commitment to ensuring stock availability to meet demand.
