This is a permanent part-time (0.2FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2025

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D) teacher to support students who are learning Standard Australian English. This includes students from overseas, those on humanitarian visas, and International Fee-Paying students. The role involves using the EAL/D Progress Maps to monitor student progress and working closely with classroom teachers to plan and deliver effective teaching strategies. Building strong relationships with families and supporting communication between home and school are also key parts of this role.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience teaching students with varying levels of English and be able to create engaging lessons for small groups. They should enjoy working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and be committed to helping every learner succeed. The successful applicant will ideally be well-organised, a strong team player, and confident in designing high-quality learning programs that support students' language development and literacy across the curriculum.
