Associate Director Agile Chapter Leadership Employment Type: Ongoing Location: Flexible/hybrid working arrangements available across NSW, with some travel to Sydney metro locations required from time to time (negotiable) Grade: Clerk 11/12 Salary Range: $149,739 - $173,174 p.a. base salary dependent on experience, plus 12% superannuation. The opportunity We are excited to invite applications for the opportunity of Associate Director Agile Chapter Leadership working for Government Technology Platforms, within Digital NSW as it transforms to become the state's trusted partner to enable accessible and secure digital platforms and services for the citizens and business of NSW. You will provide leadership and direction in both the ongoing implementation of new ways of working for the whole agency which is leverages the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This role also requires the individual to lead a team focused on continuous improvement of how the whole delivery portfolio operates and partner with all areas of the organisation to ensure ongoing uplift and alignment as a key strategic focus. Additionally, you will work with all Senior Managers in the agency to ensure that chapter focused capability initiatives are proactively delivered with a focus on delivery consistency and predictability. Day to Day Responsibilities Lead a team of transformation experts to develop ongoing continuous improvement measures Oversee the end-to-end implementation of the Government Technology Platforms Ways of Working transition. People leadership for immediate team and broader directorate, actively participating in Agile Chapter leadership team Represent senior leaders as required, providing expert, actionable advice and recommendations to executives Develop and mature reporting and analytics metrics that support identification of efficiencies opportunities and leverage data to provide recommendations to executive leaders What you will bring to this role Demonstrated experience in leading transformation, change and people in a digital delivery environment. You will use your Agile delivery experience to influence ongoing uplift of the organisational operating model, while developing high trust relationships with senior leaders across the portfolio. Experience in leading and representing the team as a delegate for senior leadership to promote initiatives that enhance the value of government platforms, products, and services Experience in designing and implementing long-term strategies to ensure value for money and predictable outcomes and minimising operational risk Essential experience Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) qualifications (SPC Desired) and proven experience delivering in a SAFe organization Significant experience in building effect networks and negotiating with senior leaders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes AI Statement The NSW Government is committed to ensuring the safe, ethical, and responsible deployment of AI across NSW.
