About Us
Our AWH team of nearly 3,000 staff supports a population of 250,000 members of the community throughout North-East Victoria and Southern NSW. AWH is a dynamic organisation undergoing significant growth, including the development of a state-of-the-art new Emergency Department on Albury Campus (due for completion in November 2023) and we are currently progressing to functional review for Clinical Service Planning that will deliver a new state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit.
Our Critical Care Service
We have a 5 ICU or equivalent funded Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on Albury Campus with an overall bed capacity of 12 beds (inclusive of 2 N-Class rooms). Albury ICU is an accredited Level 5 service (Victorian Level 2). The ICU model of care encompasses Intensive Care, High Dependency and Coronary Care patient cohorts (inclusive of stable paediatric patients). The Critical Care Service includes a comprehensive Clinical Liaison Service on both Albury and Wodonga sites, Donate Life program and supports the remote cardiac monitoring service for the acute campuses. The ICU NUM is supported by a comprehensive clincial leadership team, including ICU Clinical Director, Supervisor of Training, Clinical Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurse Consultants and Nurse Practitioner.

3. You have excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
4. You have at least 5 years post graduate nursing experience
5. You hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Intensive / Critical Care Nursing
6. You hold or are working towards Post Graduate qualifications in leadership or management
7. You are passionate about the nursing profession and developing and leading contemporary and innovative workforce models
8. You thrive working in a busy, dynamic and evolving service
