ABOUT THE COMPANY. My client is a family-owned civil contractor based in Western Sydney. Over recent years, they have experienced strong and steady growth and have become a trusted delivery partner for Sydney Water. As part of their expansion plans, they have created a new Project Manager role to lead an upcoming Sydney Water project in Western Sydney. The successful candidate will oversee the project and report directly to the Construction Manager, with support from a team of Site and Project Engineers. ABOUT THE POSITION. Reporting to the Construction Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring the successful and timely delivery of Sydney Water projects. You’ll work closely with senior management to monitor progress and drive outcomes, which will in turn support long-term career development. A dedicated team of Engineers and Supervisors will report directly to you. DUTIES. Driving the project to ensure it remains on schedule Programming and scheduling of works Managing client and subcontractor relationships Preparing financial reports Overseeing project costings and budgets SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. The ideal candidate will possess: A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar Previous experience in project management Experience delivering water infrastructure projects Strong commercial understanding of projects CULTURE.
