About the Role
As a Building Surveyor, you will support community development by ensuring building compliance, assessing applications, and providing expert guidance.

Main Responsibilities
* Assess and process building and development applications, ensuring they comply with relevant legislation and Council policies.
* Provide professional advice and technical guidance to customers, fostering positive development outcomes that benefit the community.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver development outcomes, leveraging your excellent communication skills and collaborative approach.
Key Skills and Experience
* A Level 2 Building Surveying qualification or equivalent experience, demonstrating a sound understanding of applicable legislation (e.g., Local Government Act 1995, Building Code of Australia).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
* Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service, with previous local government or construction industry experience being advantageous.
