AAFCANS is a not-for-profit organisation, our core purpose is to provide Defence members with convenient access to quality food, beverage and retail items and support base welfare. AAFCANS operations spans across 27 outlets across Australia. AAFCANS has a strong focus on providing authentic hospitality and a meaningful experience for all our Defence customers.
As a Mobile Food Van Driver you are AAFCANS on wheels. Delivering a quick food alternative for customers throughout the Defence base. You will meet and interact with a range of different people in the base community.
About the role:
* Based at Robertson Barracks
* Flexible Casual (Monday - Friday) no weekends or public holidays
* Fast paced customer service
* Hours available between 6:00am-3:00pm
* Serving cafe style options to Defence personnel on base
* Delivering exceptional customer service
* Providing quality beverages and food products
* Maintaining a clean and comfortable work environment
* A reliable vehicle and driver licence is required to access the base
We'd love to hear from people with:
* Available to work Monday to Friday
* Previous experience in preparation and delivery of food and beverages
* Cash Handling experience
* Food Safety certificate (Desirable)
* High levels of energy and enthusiasm
* The ability to work autonomously and in a team
* Passionate, committed, motivated
* Car and license essential
As you will be working on a Defence base in a secure area, you must have Australian Citizenship and you will need to be able to complete a National Police Check.
