About the Role
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to future proof their skill sets in Advanced Manufacturing .Invest in your career and take up a Machine Operator position for our Lamination Machine at our sites in Darra Queensland.
Tasks will include:
* Operating machinery and tools within a manufacturing environment
* Lamination of sheets
* Monitoring and troubleshooting of processes and machinery
* Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
* Packing products or components for shipment or further processing
* Operating forklifts as required.
* Sorting and inspecting products for quality assurance purposes
* Removing defective products and rejects
To be considered, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
* Safety-conscious and follow direction.
* Reliable attitude to their work while working in a team environment.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Process strong communication skills.
* Willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
* Good hand-eye coordination
* Able to perform physical work and use tools as needed.
* Have a current forklift ticket.
To be successful; you must have the following:
* Available to work 38-40 per week (day and afternoon shifts)
* Work overtime as required.
* Pre-employment medical
* PPE - Steel cap boots, high visibility
* Full working rights within Australia
* Own transport and license
