Job Role
As a Relationship Builder, you will be responsible for forming strong connections with local businesses, understanding their workforce needs and supporting them to hire individuals with diverse abilities.
You will establish partnerships with employers, identify suitable job opportunities and facilitate successful placements, ensuring that both employers and candidates achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with local teams to support employers in the Launceston region, promoting employment opportunities and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
2. Stay informed about the local labour market and emerging industries, enabling ongoing employment opportunities and driving business growth.
3. Proactively build new employer relationships, taking time to understand their staffing needs and delivering targeted recruitment strategies.
4. Work closely with Employers to adapt their processes or roles to accommodate candidates with specific requirements, maximising productivity and other benefits towards achieving organisational goals.
5. Match job-ready candidates with suitable employers through referrals, job carving and reverse marketing, resulting in sustainable employment outcomes.
6. Collaborate with Employment Consultants and Ongoing Support Consultants to develop opportunities in relevant industries, providing post-placement support to participants and their employers.
7. Exceed KPIs and apply an outcome-focused, high-performance approach to drive success in this role.
Requirements
A relevant qualification in Employment Services, Community Services or a related field is desirable.
Previous experience in employment services, including barrier management, candidate placement, and post-placement support, is highly regarded.
Demonstrated expertise in business development, account management or sales will be highly valued.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills are essential.
Knowledge of local employers and their recruitment demands is also required.
Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with a wide range of stakeholders.
A performance-driven mindset and proven experience achieving business targets and KPIs are necessary.
Must hold a Driver's license for regional travel.
