Litton Andrews (LA Medical Recruitment) providing a Total Medical/Healthcare Recruitment and Consultancy Service with the best staffing, practice and business solutions.
Our client is a long-time established Respiratory and Sleep Specialist based in Spring Hill. They are seeking to appoint an experienced Medical Receptionist/Secretary to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis – Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. The rostered hours would be between 7:30am to 5:00pm with no overtime needed. The successful candidate will work closely with the administration team and Practice Manager to provide reception and secretarial support to the 4 specialists.

This position would suit a seasoned Medical Receptionist/Secretary who has proven skills working within a similar environment.

Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

* Meet and greet of patients visiting the practice
* Taking all incoming telephone calls and assisting patient with general enquiries
* Responding to all email correspondence in an appropriate time frame
* Preparing and running patient clinics, including patient appointment bookings, data entry of patient details into Health track, reviewing upcoming clinics and ensuring all patient records are in order before the day of clinic, appointment reminders, attending to patient emails and handling all telephone enquiries
* Processing of all patient billing/receipting for consultations
* Providing general administration support to the wider team

In addition to the key duties and responsibilities, Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

* A strong desire to provide a high level of service to the patients of the practice
* immaculate personal presentation
* An exemplary telephone manner and a compassionate demeanour
* Have at least 2 years previous experience in a similar position
* Must be a team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrate you are proactive with strong time management and organisational skills along with the ability to prioritise your workload efficiently.
* Must be able to multi skill and work under pressure
* High level of competency in Microsoft Word and Outlook,
* Previous experience using Health track software is highly desirable however training will be provided

Remuneration
An hourly rate will be negotiated for the right candidate. The practice is located in Spring Hill and is conveniently accessible via all major public transport routes.
