Paediatric Haematologist/Oncologist Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Haematologist/Oncologist to join our team at the Michael Rice Centre for Haematology/Oncology. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical and/or diagnostic laboratory services to an assigned portfolio of cases.
* Main Responsibilities:
* The provision of high-quality paediatric haematology/ oncology clinical and/or diagnostic laboratory services to an assigned portfolio of cases within the objectives and philosophies of the Michael Rice Centre for Haematology/Oncology.
* Contributing to education and research within the Department.
* Encouraging and supporting teamwork.
* Being involved in provision of services to SA Pathology.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
* Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
* Clinical or laboratory experience and excellence in paediatric haematology/oncology.
* Experience with undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs.
* Leadership, management and motivational skills to maximise individual and team performance.
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to work with individuals and families for positive health outcomes and to foster productive working relationships both internally and externally.
