About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to lead the operational support and management of the Accounts Payable Team at our Support Centre in Upper Mount Gravatt. You will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities
* Oversee all accounts payable operations, ensuring integrity and efficiency in invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, and supplier management.
* Guide and supervise a dedicated AP team, providing leadership, mentoring, and ongoing development.
* Drive continual process improvements, maintain robust internal controls, and uphold compliance standards.
Qualifications
* Experience as an Accounts Payable Team Leader.
* High-level general ledger coding experience.
* Experience in a high-volume data entry role with tight deliverables.
* Ability to adapt to new processes and learn new systems quickly.
* Strong experience with Excel, Word, Adobe, and email.
* Computerised accounting systems experience (SAP, Basware, Epicor).
* Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
* Positive attitude towards teamwork.
* Experience in aged care or another service industry.
* Willingness to contribute to ongoing process improvement.
* Problem-solving skills.
