About the Centre
The Brisbane Youth Education and Training Centre (BYETC) is a multi-campus school catering to both male and female students from across the state who are either on remand or have been sentenced for criminal offences.
The centre offers a supportive learning environment with a focus on improving literacy, numeracy, vocational skills, and life skills to help students build confidence and open pathways for their future.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A relevant teaching qualification and current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland are essential requirements.
Pre-service/graduate teachers must have been granted provisional registration prior to commencing employment as a teacher.
