This organisation are a leader in various categories including Food, Personal care and Household Goods. As the Territory Manager, you will be the key contact for both independent retailers, driving sales performance, executing promotional plans, and ensuring in-store excellence. Reporting directly to the National Field Sales Manager, this role offers a blend of strategic account management and hands-on field execution, ideal for a high-performing FMCG professional looking to take the next step in their sales career.
Key Responsibilities
* Territory Management: Manage a defined geographical area of stores within Victoria, ensuring territory sales targets are met or exceeded.
* Execution Excellence: Implement and maintain best-in-class execution across product visibility, availability, planogram compliance, and promotional activity.
* Customer Relationship Building: Build strong, long-term relationships with store managers, MSO group buyers, and key decision-makers to drive brand advocacy and sales growth.
* Data & Insights: Use sales data and reporting tools to identify opportunities, track performance, and support fact-based selling.
* Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams including marketing, category management, and logistics to deliver tailored solutions and ensure smooth execution.
Key Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in FMCG sales, with a strong track record of territory management.
* Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and data-driven decision-making.
* Ability to work autonomously in the field and manage a flexible schedule.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in MS Office and CRM/reporting systems.
* Current driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
