Asset Assessment Coordinator
City of Wagga Wagga is seeking an experienced and proactive Asset Assessment Coordinator to lead the delivery of high‑quality asset assessment services across the city’s infrastructure network. This role provides an exciting opportunity to oversee a dedicated team and ensure Council’s civil assets are managed to the highest standards to support a sustainable and well‑functioning community.

Your New Role
- Coordinate and supervise the Asset Assessment Team in undertaking condition and surveillance inspections across Council’s infrastructure assets
- Oversee the capture, analysis, and reporting of data relating to asset condition, defects, risks, and maintenance requirements
- Supervise and review responses to customer service requests, ensuring investigations and outcomes align with Council’s standards and procedures
- Manage the collection and transfer of asset data to the Asset Accounting Officer for integration into the Asset Management System
- Develop, implement, and review asset condition assessment policies and procedures across multiple asset classes
- Work collaboratively with engineering and operational teams to develop and deliver maintenance, renewal, and capital works programs, including preparing accurate cost estimates
What You Will Need To Succeed
- Qualifications relevant to the role e.g. Certificate III Information Technology or Spatial/Environment
- Class C Driver’s Licence
- General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card)
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Asset Management (Desirable)
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Solid time management, planning and administrative skills
