From supporting tenders and developing alternative designs, to solving complex technical challenges, conducting construction reviews and driving innovation through research and workshops. Location independent! Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne or Brisbane location!ResponsibilitiesSupport our professional services team with pavement design, mix design, geotechnical investigation, research development, case studies and product development.Work with our Professional Services team to eventually be in a position to engage with our customers on design/construction processes.Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other team members to understand and execute design and research project requirements.Participate in our innovation programme to identify opportunities and help progress initiatives to commercialisation.Manage deadlines relating to the role effectively to contribute to the overall success of the professional services team.Frequent short-duration travel (within the work-week) to other Hiway business units Australia-wide, with occasional travel to New Zealand.Key AttributesDegree qualification in Engineering or a related disciplineCPEng or on the path to achieve CPEng within 2 yearsExcellent report writing skills with strong attention to detail developing technical documentsFamiliarity with Austroads and State pavement design specificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good relationshipsHiway specialises in recycling and reuse, offering innovative low-carbon pavement solutions for transport infrastructure across Australasia.
