About The Role
Reporting directly to a senior executive leader, this role blends hands-on operational execution with structured business analysis. You'll immerse yourself in existing operations to understand how work is currently done, then streamline, standardise and improve processes using the systems already in place. This is not a greenfield transformation or system implementation role—success comes from working pragmatically within a large, complex environment to lift efficiency, consistency and professionalism at a national level.
DUTIES
* Execute hands-on operational administration activities to understand current-state workflows
* Coordinate operational tasks including incident management, inboxes, reporting and investigations
* Work across existing platforms and tools to build end-to-end process understanding
* Document current-state processes, variations and handoffs across states
* Identify inefficiencies, duplication, manual work and operational risk
* Design future-state, nationally consistent processes using existing systems
* Develop clear, role-based SOPs to enable scalable and repeatable execution
* Identify opportunities to streamline, automate or digitise tasks within current tools
* Partner with internal teams to implement practical improvements without introducing new systems
* Support rollout, training, knowledge transfer and ongoing optimisation
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Background in operations, senior administration, business analysis or process improvement
* Experience improving processes within large, complex or highly regulated organisations
* Proven ability to drive meaningful change without introducing new systems or platforms
* Strong experience documenting processes and developing SOPs
* Demonstrated capability identifying opportunities for standardisation and automation within existing tools
* High proficiency with Outlook, Excel, SharePoint and operational systems
* Confident, pragmatic communicator able to challenge constructively and build trust
* Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable balancing delivery with improvement
* Experience in business analysis or continuous improvement roles (formal qualification not essential)
