Job Description:
The Telecommunications Team Leader plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of telecommunications services within the organization. This includes managing the day-to-day running of the Switchboard and Telecommunication Services, as well as providing leadership and support to Switchboard operators.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the management of telecommunications infrastructure, including PABX/VoIP/Spectralink telephone services, MIE (Message Integration Engine), and Paging services.
* Develop and implement general telecommunication policies and procedures.
* Provide training and guidance to Switchboard operators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
* Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve technical issues that may impact telecommunications services.
Requirements:
* A relevant qualification and/or experience in a Supervisor/Team Leader role.
* A relevant qualification and/or experience with Telecommunications technology.
* Demonstrated ability to operate in a busy Switchboard environment.
* Ability to carry out and assist in developing emergency/disaster procedures.
* Sound knowledge of computer software packages.
* Demonstrated ability to work a 24 hour rotating roster undertake on call responsibilities.
* Current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence.
