Experienced Line Cooks Wanted
We are seeking dynamic FIFO line cooks to join our team and contribute to the preparation of high-quality meals for residents.
* Liaising with the Head Chef and other team members to ensure a smooth and profitable kitchen operation is key in this role.
* Contributing to the preparation of high-quality meals for residents involves working effectively as part of a cohesive team, adhering to established safety protocols and maintaining the highest standards of presentation and quality.
* Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment is essential in preventing accidents and ensuring the health and well-being of staff and clients alike.
* Working at multiple sites every day brings new opportunities to apply your skills and experience in a variety of settings.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* At least 3 years' chef experience in a remote village (FIFO or DIDO), preferably in a similar capacity where you have honed your bulk/batch cooking skills.
* Strong knowledge of HACCP principles, workplace safety systems and intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
* A Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or Trade certificate, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and management.
* Intermediate level proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Current WA Manual C Class drivers' license, enabling you to safely operate company vehicles.
