Job Title: Inventory Manager
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled inventory manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our inventory operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in inventory control, with expertise in receipting, stocktakes, cycle counts, adjustments and returns.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring high-level stock control through efficient receipting, stocktakes, cycle counts, adjustments and returns.
* Lead a small team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and improve overall inventory efficiency.
* Conduct root cause analysis of stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions to minimize losses.
* Maintain accurate records using our mainframe system and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain procedures during system downtime and audit requirements.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve customer KPIs.
* Acknowledge and contribute to a safe working environment, adhering to our Vision Zero safety culture.
Requirements:
* Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills and commitment to high standards of inventory control.
* Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing or transport environments.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and experience using RF and warehousing systems.
* Knowledge of inventory best practices and reconciliation processes.
* Proven ability to make informed decisions and work effectively under pressure.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
