About the role
Events and activities extraordinaire! This role creates memories, laughter and exciting fun to look forward to for our residents. Based in our Joondalup site this role maximises your creativity to develop and deliver a Lifestyle program from silent discos to unleash the inner artist! This role leads our team and inspires volunteers and works with families and loved ones - partnering with the caring care team to uncover interests and passions, then bring together amazing and meaningful events!
About you
You will be the type of person who lights up a room, can find out what makes peoples hearts sing and faces smile. You'll be wanting to make the world a better place starting with making someone's day today! Bringing motivated, encouragement, endless creativity and enthusiasm you'll be looking for a role that gives people a reason to get up and go in the morning. With care, compassion and a love of collaboration you'll be looking to join a committed and enthusiastic team. Your key experience will include:
* Experience in the aged care sector
* Passion, drive, creativity, enthusiasm – let's face it, you'll be walking sunshine!
* Great leadership skills either formally or informally, you'll be a natural leader that people are inspired by
* Compassion, patience and deep authentic respect for the life journey and stories of our residents
* Excellent time management and the important administration skills
* Strong communication skills with a wide range of people
* National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months)
