The Recipe for Success: Role Summary
The Logistics Assistant supports the day-to-day logistics, inventory administration, and system maintenance activities for Le Creuset Australia & New Zealand.
The role ensures accurate item master data, timely processing of purchase orders and shipments, reliable delivery reporting, and effective coordination with factories, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to support smooth supply chain operations.
Ingredients: Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Supply Chain Administration
* Maintain accurate item master data for active SKUs in the ERP system, including descriptions, dimensions, and attributes prior to activation.
* Create, maintain, and track purchase orders in the ERP system.
* Prepare and manage shipment and logistics documentation, including packing lists, shipment summaries, and customs paperwork.
* Coordinate with factories and freight forwarders to manage shipment readiness, ETD/ETA changes, delays, and ensure accurate quantities and styles.
* Create consignments and allocate freight and duty costs as required.
Delivery & Reporting Support
* Maintain and review weekly delivery and logistics reports, ensuring shipment, PO, and delivery data is accurate and aligned across ERP, operational reports, and BI tools (e.g. Navision, QlikView, Power BI).
* Proactively identify and flag discrepancies, inaccuracies, or risks to the Operations or Finance teams.
Inventory & Product Administration
* Support product data updates across systems, including descriptions, pricing changes, and ICO revisions.
* Provide stock-related and general administrative support, including sample checks, documentation filing, data validation, and logistics support as required.
* Monitor local inventory levels and assist with regular inventory reviews, cycle counts, stocktakes, and ad-hoc stock events to ensure accuracy and availability.
* Process and document inventory adjustments in the ERP system for all locations, ensuring approvals, accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls.
The Perfect Blend: What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in logistics, supply chain administration, inventory, or operations support (1–3 years preferred).
* Experience working with ERP systems (Navision or similar highly regarded).
* Exposure to multi-channel environments (retail, wholesale, e-commerce) advantageous.
* Basic understanding of import logistics and shipment documentation desirable.
* Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
* Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
* Effective time management and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently while supporting a broader team.
