Overview
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious New Car Manager or experienced Salesperson to build a high performing sales team on a greenfield site in Myaree. Representing the automotive Marque of MG with the support of Regent Motors, the dealership is destined for rapid growth and long-term success.
About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful applicant will be a part of a vibrant and busy environment. You will be responsible for leading the new car sales team, achieving set objectives, and administering the very best guest experience.
You will need to have excellent communication skills and be highly organised. As part of your role, you will be expected to achieve our volume aspirations, deliver budgeted gross profit, and manage your department's controllable expenses.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* An ability to manage and develop people in a sales team through one-on-one coaching and training.
* Work with our manufacturer partners to achieve our joint goals.
* A passion and clear understanding of automotive industry.
* Exceptional customer focus coupled with a strategic sales approach.
* Knowledge of dealer management systems such as ERA.
* Highly organised with great communication and negotiation skills.
* Sound computer skills.
Your daily activities would likely consist of:
* Managing customer enquiries and ensuring your team is following up all opportunities.
* Ensuring there is a solid marketing plan.
* Making sure the department is on track to meet business and manufacturer targets.
* Build and maintain positive customer and employee relationships.
