Sidewalk Café in Airlie Beach is searching for a Chef who is passionate about creating unforgettable culinary experiences. What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting the Head Chef in creating seasonal menus that showcase bold flavours, fresh, high-quality ingredients, and innovative dishes.
* This is a Chef de Partie level position working directly under the Head Chef.
* Assisting in leading and developing the kitchen team, helping to build them into a strong, high-performance crew that supports our shared vision.
* Ensuring smooth kitchen operations during your shifts, from prep to service, while maintaining consistency and high standards.
* Mentoring and training junior staff, fostering a positive kitchen culture that values growth, teamwork, and excellence.
* Supporting stock management, suppliers, and COGS, ensuring efficiency without compromising quality or creativity.
* Collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
