Therapy Assistant Role
This is an exciting opportunity to gain real-world experience in delivering therapy programs.
You will work under the guidance of a qualified Allied Health Professional to deliver individual and group therapy programs for clients.
This casual position involves working with clients in a family-centered model of practice.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering therapy programs to achieve client goals.
* Gaining experience in the disability sector with ongoing support from Allied Health Professionals.
* Supporting clients and their families to achieve independence.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Allied Health students studying externally or locally;
* Certificate IV in Allied Health;
* Fully qualified and/or experienced Allied Health Assistant (min Cert III).
* A valid QLD Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening clearance;
* Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module training;
* Current First Aid and CPR;
* Drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle;
* Well-developed interpersonal skills and understanding of professional boundaries;
* Ability to assist autonomously.
