Cook / All-Rounder – Remote South Australia Adventure! Looking to escape the city grind and cook up something new? Join a dynamic outback venue offering 24-hour service, including a fuel stop, retail outlet, licensed bar, restaurant, motel, and caravan park. We’re seeking a versatile Cook/All-Rounder who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into a varied, hands-on role in a friendly remote venue.
Location: Remote South Australia
Employment Type: Casual Position
The Package
- $35.18/hr Monday–Friday
- $45.89/hr Saturdays & Sundays
- Accommodation & Meals: $150/week
- Private room with shared bathroom facilities
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cooking bistro-style and short order meals with pride
- Keeping the kitchen clean and protected
- Serving customers, handling cash, and making a great coffee
- Handling overnight duties solo: prepping food, cleaning, late check-ins, and general customer service
- Supporting a small, close-knit team
- Jumping into whatever is needed—no two days are the same!
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in fast-paced kitchens
- Robust short order & à la carte cooking skills
- Bonus points for bakery/cake-making experience
- Solid customer service and cleaning abilities
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Comfortable working solo night shifts
