Our bakehouse is growing, and we now have opportunities for experienced Cake Decorators to join our team of creative pastry cooks in Keilor Park, VIC.
HOW YOU WILL RISE TO THE OCCASION
In this role, you will create and decorate a wide variety of cakes, from celebration cakes to custom designs, while utilizing a range of skills from intricate piping to fondant work.
- Decorate cakes to our high quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders and meet production targets
- Ensure Food Safety, HACCP, and quality standards are met
- Have a strong commitment to workplace occupational health & safety.
Our people are the icing on the cake! You will be working with a friendly team that is incredibly welcoming and passionate about everything baking.
Please Note: public transport is quite challenging in this area and as such you will need a car to get here.
THE INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about cake decorating!
To be successful, you will bring with you the following attributes:
- Trade qualifications (pastry or equivalent) desirable, however not essential if you are highly experienced.
- Great attention to detail.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Previous experience working in a rapid-paced food environment is essential.

Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses has always been and still is a family owned and operated business. We have a long & proud history dating back to the 1800's. Both the Ferguson & Plarre Families have early European roots and we established ourselves in Australia over 110 years ago.
