About the role
Venetia Major - Bespoke Jewellery is looking for a casual jewellery sales consultant to join our team in Hall, ACT 2618. In this dynamic role, you will help to run the day-to-day operations of our boutique jewellery store, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

What you'll be doing
1. Maintaining a visually appealing and well-organised retail space to showcase our bespoke jewellery collections.
2. Handling customer enquiries, orders and payments in a professional and friendly manner.
3. Managing quotes, deposits, special orders and repair jobs ensuring jobs stay on track.
4. Book and manage client appointments.
5. Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as needed to ensure product availability.
6. Operating jewellery specific software and systems like Swim and Shopify (all training provided) and entering new stock items into the inventory system.
7. Opening & closing procedures following safety and security procedures.
8. Collaborating with the wider team to contribute to the overall success of the business.
9. You'll be supported by qualified jewellers and designers to assist with technical aspects. Jewellery specific training will be provided.
What we're looking for
1. Approximately hours/week with availability from 9am to 5pm week days and 9am to 2.30pm Saturdays.
2. Experience in a retail role, preferably within the jewellery or fashion industry
3. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional shopping experiences
4. Strong sales and merchandising skills, with the ability to create visually appealing product displays
5. Proficient in inventory management
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confident phone skills
7. A creative mindset and an eye for design to understand and appreciate our bespoke jewellery collections
8. Flexibility to work a mix of daytime and Saturday shifts as required. No late nights except for occasional special events. No Sundays.
9. Australian work rights are required for this position
