About the role

Based at our Townsville, QLD office, the Business Support Officer will provide administrative support for the Northern Region, including email, travel and calendar management for the Director. Coordinate and respond to enquiries and correspondence and assist in the coordination, preparation, and delivery of reports, dashboards, and executive correspondence and document management.

Key responsibilities of this role are:

To ensure a high level of discretion, diplomacy and judgement in responding to enquiries arising from the executive team, senior managers, and other internal customers.

* Provide professional support and assistance to the Director, Operational Managers, Business Advisor and PSCOs
* Communicate and liaise with senior executives from public and private organisations on a wide range of issues, respect confidentiality and maintain effective working relationships.
* Provide administrative support to the Region as required.
* Ensure effective correspondence and document management processes.
* Prepare, facilitate, follow up and action all correspondence for the Region in line with correct templates, standard wording and grammar to ensure deadlines / timeframes are met.

About You

As the ideal candidate will have an adaptable and solutions focused mindset. You will pride yourself on your ability to multi-task whilst maintaining high attention to detail. You will have experience with working with various stakeholders from executive to all levels within an organisation.

To be successful in this role you will possess

* 3+ years' experience in administration / Executive assistant roles
* Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare a range of documentation for the business.
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to manage effective relationships with customers, stakeholders and colleagues.
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team of people to provide consistent, responsive and high-quality support.
* Extensive experience in using business systems, MS Office suite, Power BI, Promaster, One Tree and information technology.
* Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet critical deadlines
