About the role
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work closely with Registered Nurses and care staff to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to residents. You will play an important role in supporting residents’ health, dignity, and quality of life. Please note, as part of the Pool team, you will be required to work across all three locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide safe and compassionate nursing care to residents
* Assist with medication administration and clinical procedures within scope of practice
* Monitor and report changes in residents’ health and wellbeing
* Maintain accurate documentation and care records
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support residents’ needs
What we’re looking for
* Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse
* A genuine passion for aged care and supporting older people
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to deliver person-centred care with empathy and respect
* Previous aged care experience is essential

Alan David lodge offers 108 high-level care beds. Alan David Lodge is a modern facility located on the Torquay Highway in Charlemont. Surrounded by rustic farmland, the country setting makes Alan David Lodge a peaceful and serene experience for people transitioning into high level care. The facility features spacious design, modern decor, a contemporary colour scheme with natural lighting and connection to external courtyards and the unique community garden precinct.
Blakiston Lodge
Located at Barwon Health’s McKellar Centre in North Geelong, Blakiston Lodge is a 90bed, high level, residential aged care mental health facility which consists of two secure units of 45 aged mental health beds (Oak) and 45 dementia specific beds(Adzen). Residents are referred who cannot be looked after in the general aged care system due to their level of cognitive, emotional or behavioural disturbance. The goal is to improve the resident's condition so that they can be transferred to a less
restrictive and more appropriate accommodation. Blakiston Lodge is dedicated to caring for people with dementia and mental illness and offers a safe and secure environment and quality nursing, medical and psychiatric support for residents.
Wallace Lodge
Wallace Lodge is a modern 108-bed facility featuring spacious design, modern decor, a contemporary colour scheme with natural lighting and connection to the external courtyards. The beautiful garden settings enhance emotional wellbeing and offer a sense of tranquillity.
