As the Manager, Internal Communications you will be responsible for leading a small team responsible for organisational communications, organisational change, organisational capability development, and organisational business support functions.
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor and manage the communications, change, capability development and business support functional teams.
* Collaborate with senior leaders and create and manage content for internal communication channels.
* Oversee the organisation's internal communication platforms.
* Foster a positive organisational culture by planning, executing and promoting employee engagement activities.
* Assist stakeholders to assess change impact and readiness, working with stakeholders to develop and recommend strategies for managing the organisational changes.
* Coordinate organisational wide capability development opportunities.
* Manage the business and executive support functions.
* Monitor, manage and lead activities and resources in accordance with agreed plans, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken to deliver these activities within agreed timelines and budget.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners to ensure successful outcomes.
* Proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of your staff.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in leading and optimising team performance.
* Ability to lead the development of communication strategies to align to organisational goals and experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams on organisational change matters.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines to achieve results while considering stakeholder needs.
* Demonstrated problem solving skills including the ability to independently research, analyse, develop options, and implement agreed solutions.
* Demonstrate initiative in achieving outcomes with an ongoing continuous improvement focus.
